DAILY FAJR PRAYER

Time: Prayer starts 20 minutes after Fajr Azaan, Bryn Mawr time.

Schedule:
00 - 10 min: Fajr Prayer
10 - 15 min: Hadeeth of the Day
15 - 25 min: Quranic Recitation

DAILY TRAWEEH PRAYER

Reciter: Dr. Mohammad Ghanamah, Imam and

           member of AIS community 
Time: After Isha prayer. Iqaama for Isha prayer will
        take place after 20 minutes from the Azaan.  
Duration: 20 rakah and will take about an hour and half.

RAMADAN  IFTAR 

Date: Saturday, Feb. 28, 2026
Time: 5:30 - 9:30 PM  
Program: Breaking fast, Maghrib prayer, iftar,

            Presentation/discussion of AIS activities, 
            Isha prayer, Traweeh prayer 

QIYAM EL-LEIL

Reciter: Dr. Mohamad Ghanamah, Imam and member of AIS community 
Time: The last 10 days prayer starts 1:30 hours before Fajr with recitation for an hour,  30 min. for sohoor (bring your own) followed by Fajr prayer.

And from their properties was the right of

(Al-Ma‘ārij 19)

ZAKAAT AL-MAAL: Nisab (Minimum Threshold): becomes due when a person’s wealth reaches a certain amount, which is generally the equivalent of the value of 85 grams of gold or 595 grams of silver. The nisab amount can fluctuate depending on the market value of gold or silver, typically calculated at 2.5% of the total wealth (which includes savings, income, investments, and other assets) held for a full lunar year above the nisab.

ZAKAAT AL-FITR : amount is $12 per person including infants and children. Before the ‎Eid al-Fitr prayer at the end of Ramadan, every adult Muslim who possesses food in ‎excess of their needs must pay Zakaat al-Fitr.
